my story

I turned 40 on may 26th 2012.
I learned once that life begins at 40's.
I don't know if it's true for everybody but I've been changing my view about life .

Living simple is something my parents always did. They just don't know that is a name for the way they live. For them, life is life, full stop.

My mom is "full time mom" since she got married to my dad. They are together for 50 years. She cooks from scratch every meal, bake cakes and desserts. She tough me how to sew, crochet, embroidery, knitting and cooking. She made me dresses mended from my older sister clothes. She never had a maid or someone to help her to clean the house.
My dad built our home and made their bedroom furniture that survived till nowadays! He handmade my cot. He never had a credit card!
Their support with other through their lives and supported me and my sister.
They are happy and healthy, calm and simple couple.

I though their were old fashion and when I left home I start to live a modern life...I really have been changing and I fell good about it.

Anyway, now it's time to recover my parents legacy and heritage. I'm seeking to find my very simple way.
